Guest Post: On Being Yourself

Although I try to shy away from the pitfalls of television viewing, sometimes it cannot be helped. I find myself, after a long day of being hammered by information on campus, basking in the uterine warmth of the living room lit by a glowing television screen projecting mindless stimuli at me. I picture it like an oscillating fan blowing wisps of mind-numbing canned laughs on my sweating brow after a long day of mental exercise. But occasionally something gets through to me.
